Yangon’s Shwedagon Pagoda (January)

01-Yangon PagodaYangon’s biggest attraction is the enormous Shwedagon Pagoda. It is 110 meters high, but what was more impressive was the huge complex surrounding the pagoda. No idea how big it is, but it basically covers an entire big hill. There were temples and statues throughout, and even free WiFi. The pagoda felt like a central meeting place, not just a place of worship.
